The Plainfield Middle School Band Boosters is a team of volunteer parents and Band Directors trying to make a difference in students’ lives.  The difference is in the form of the enrichment that comes from a quality education that includes participation in music and the fine arts.  We are committed to encouraging the growth and development of a quality band program, which complements and extends the educational options for young people.

 

The Plainfield Middle School Band Boosters pledge to support the superior band program that Plainfield District 202 has developed, and in which they continue to invest.  That support is in the form of volunteer effort; direct moral support of Directors, Administration, and students; and fundraisers, which directly benefit all participants of the band program.  We encourage active participation by all parents to continue to develop this program and enhance the learning opportunities of the districts’ band students.

Meetings for the 2011-2012 school year will be held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the band room at Ira Jones Middle School located at 15320 W Wallin Drive, Plainfield, IL 60544.
